Welcome to Mutley Baptist Church!
We are Christians: people who follow Jesus. We have good news to share and want to be good news to everyone. We seek to be like Jesus in being God-orientated, lovingly inclusive, ethically motivated, generously big-hearted, people focused and playfully creative.

We are an inclusive church: like Jesus we celebrate and affirm every person as being made and loved by God, so we challenge discrimination; value everyone and are accessible to all. We believe everyone should have a safe place in God's family; and we especially care for and welcome those who have been marginalised. We hope and pray that everyone finds their place in our Jesus-centred community.
You can find out more about who we are in the About Us section where explain more about our vision, values and beliefs.

If you would like to see current news and activity at the church please check out our social media pages and follow us on Facebook and Instagram. You can also download the latest copy of our monthly magazine Mutley Matters. On the What's On? page you can see a diary of the midweek activities in the church and book for children, youth and families groups.

Most Sundays we have services at 10am and 6pm. The morning service includes provision for children and young people in relevant groups. You can see more information about these services here.

Our building stands out alongside convenience stores, pubs, fast food outlets and barber's shops at the city end of the bustling Mutley Plain – you can't miss us.

There is some on-street parking that is available without restriction in the roads near the church, but during the week there are residents-only limitations. Be careful too, because some of the spaces down Napier Terrace have a meter that you need to feed with money (or use an app).
Behind the church there is a large pay & display car park (first 2 hours free). You do need a ticket from the machine for the 2 free hours, or if you plan to stay longer you can pay via the RingGo app or with cash. If you are coming to a Sunday service at the church 2 hours should be ample time.

If the top level is full, there is further parking on the next level down - turn right down Napier Terrace as you come back out of the top level and the entrance is on your right about 100 metres down the hill. However currently you have to pay to park on this level.
